Thalor turns to you as the battle reaches it's peak and says "Do you know the story about the Dark Elves and their sundering from the High Elves" "No, I don't you reply" abhorred by the violence surrounding you and Thalor. "Well, when the battle is finished, I will introduce you to Frolnar Darkwise, he knows more about the sundering and the dark elves than any other."

Dark Elves-The sundering

" The sundering began when Malekith, better known as the witch king, accused Bel-Shanaar, the secong phoenix king, of being a member of the cult of Slaanesh and Bel-Shanaar took poison instead of being interrogated. The princes and generals that were present at this meeting were attacked by the forefathers of the Dark Elves. After all the princes were slaughtered, Malekith took the Phoenix crown and turned towards the flame, confident that he could pass through the flame, like his father, Aenarion. But he was wrong and as he entered the, flame all the hair was seared off his body and his skin blackened." Frolnar pauses shuddering as if he was the one that was burnt by the flame. After a long drink of elven wine he continues his narritive "Unable to bear the pain, Malekith jumped out off the flame on to the platform from which he entered the flame. Seeing what had happened to him, his soldiers retrieved his burnt body and carried him to Nagarythe(The isles are remanants of Nagarythe). The civil war progessed to it's height in the reign of Caledor the First, many mages from saphery defected to the dark elves, and a priest of vaul called Hotek and stole Vaul's hammer as he defected. Malekith asked for special armour to be made for him. Hotek and the mages forged a mighty suit of armour and when they had finished it, Malekith ordered them to weld the armour onto his body. After many years of warring, Malekith, now known as the Witch King, deciding on a desperate gamble. He was going to gather his sorcerers to him and told them his plan. He planned to unwind the spells that held the forces of chaos from being completely unleashed. The Dark Elf sorcerers began chanting a spell to unwind the spell. The High Elves tried to counter but the Dark Elves succeeded in beginning to unravel the spell, but when they got to the centre of the spell, they encountered something they didn't expect, the High Elf mages that survived the making of the vortex would not let their efforts be undone so easily. They unleashed a spell so devastating that most of Nagarythe was sunk under land. The sorcerers in the various cities used magic to make the city float, and so were made the infamous black arks. Tiranoc was swamped by tidal wave after tidal wave, sinking the vast plains below water. From the deeps many creatures, never before seen were unleashed.
